RLSS UK Conference 2015

This year’s conference will take place on Saturday 13 – Sunday 14 June at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth, Warwickshire. The focus of the conference will be ‘learning together to make our society stronger’ and will include a series of workshops and training to help all those involved in lifesaving.

This year’s conference will include:

• Youth Development Seminar for all Branch Youth Representatives
• Open Water Endorsement Course – enabling RLSS UK Lifesaving Instructors to gain the skills and knowledge required to train and assess in open water.
• NWSMP Flood Module, equipping people with the right training to enable them to support professionals in emergency situations, safely and effectively.
• Duke of Edinburgh Presentation, including tips and advice from a gold award holder.
• Be the first to hear all the information on the RLSS UK ‘Inland Lifeguard’ Course, brand new for 2015.
• Annual Gala Dinner plus the new Pride of RLSS UK awards including awards for Athlete of the Year, Fundraiser of the Year, Branch Challenge Award and Drowning Prevention Week award. Don’t forget to download your nomination form.

There will also be a series of presentations and industry seminars including: How to engage more people in lifesaving and Delivering Drowning education to young people. There will also be a drop-in centre for information on the basics of lifesaving sport and how to become an official. You will also have the opportunity to meet your new Drowning Prevention Co-ordinators.
