Burnham-on-Sea ESCAPE Day

Each year Burnham-on-Sea host the ESCAPE Day. Usually around 20 different emergency services attend the annual event speaking to the public about their work, with many giving demonstrations of their work.

Those involved include Burnham Area Rescue Boat, RNLI, HM Coastguard, Avon and Somerset Constabulary, Somerset Fire and Rescue and the Ambulance Service.

This year RLSS UK Somerset Branch will be attending the ESCAPE Day, which normally runs from 10am to 4pm.

We are looking for volunteers to help us during the day to support the stand – this could be for 1 hour, 2 hours or more. Support around lunchtime would be appreciated to let volunteers have some lunch. If you are interested contact us at somerset@rlsswest.org.uk.
