The West Region Sport Working Group was created to increase participation and interest in lifesaving sport within the region. The Group is comprised of a number of members from within the Region (4 from Somerset Branch, 3 from Avon and North Wiltshire and 1 from Gloucestershire Branch).
The Group plans to achieve its’ aim by improving the awareness of lifesaving sport, while providing more local assistance to all athletes from grass roots through to elite performers. Additionally, the Group wants to engage with local lifesaving clubs, sports centres and swimming clubs.
