The West Region has three working groups:
Communications
Development and Programmes
Sport and Recreation
These three groups have the same aims as the similarly named National Committees but on a more local level covering the West Region. The groups are informal and meet a few times a year, working on projects important to those who make up the groups and the West Region. The working groups are made up volunteers from around the West Region who want to develop programmes and activities across the Region.
